The Payment of Bonus (amendment) Act,2015 received the accent of The President on 31st December, 2015 and notified in gazette on 1st January, 2016 for general information.

According to that the wages ceiling of coverage employment
be express or implied has changed and sets now as ` 21000/-
instant of `10000/-.
As well as the calculation of bonus wages has changed and
now the wages ` 7000/-
or the minimum wages for the schedule employment as fixed by government
whichever is higher shall be considered instant of ` 3500/-.
